After years of riding, lessons, and showing in her early years, Cassie attended Cal Poly State University, where she studied agriculture and equine science. She then got an opportunity to go out of the country to train reining horses and cow horses in Ontario Canada. Although it was an incredible experience, Cassie wanted to settle in California. She now works out of the Laughton Ranch in Jackson, CA where she gives lessons, trains, and manages.

She has worked along side big names in the cutting, reining, and cow-horse industries, and knows that she is passionate for these disciplines. She loves to work with a young horse and see it morph into a talented, skilled performance horse.
